yea yea it's been awhile
where to begin
Max graduated, my folks came for it, Kacey left the next day. Shelby broke up with Max (which I think I am taking harder than he is). Kacey went to play drum corps. I went to see her perform this weekend in Normal, Il. Then to celebrate my grandma's birthday (which is tomorrow). OH! and Max registered at the U of A. Great orientation. I hope he realizes that it is work! Not all play.
I've eaten too much. I've lost my mojo scrapping. What else?
I'm still alive, fat and pretty healthy. I am cool (heat wise).
Perhaps I will update more? Who knows, lol

44 and 21
not having any idea of what they will be so, hold on while I run and find folder 44 and picture 21. Well that didn't work, those were word documents. So I reversed it folder 21 picture 44.
This is a picture of someone not wanting to have his picture taken. Someone who was involved in Kacey's color guard career,and since I don't have his permission to name him or show his face, I'm not going to name him/etc.

playing along
because this sounds like fun. Although I will tell you, when I look for my 7th folder, 7th pic, it will probably be football, lol.
Here are the rules
So, here's what you're supposed to do. Go to your pix folder. Go to the 7th folder and post the 7th photo. Then you're supposed to tag 7 people.
Surprising as it is, this isn't a photo I took. I lent someone my camera to play with and I get this back. I can't ever delete a picture (unless it is of me, lol). Just like I can't throw away a fortune from a fortune cookie. Makes me think that my fortune might not happen.
So this picture is at the football last banquet that the parents served at. It was held at power house seafood. My kid is in the background. Up against the window. Eating. Steak. Baked potatoes. Yummy food.
Side note here. Michelle, this is fun. So say challenge me like once a week to do this. YOu pick the folder and the picture. I have 18 rows of 9 folders each (some are nonsense), so give me 2 choices and I am going to blog about it. Sound fair?

define regularly
I know I said I would blog more regularly, so define it. Maybe it's every 2 weeks. WHo knows. Anywho.
Scott and Max are back and seemed to have a wonderful time. I can't get the pics from this computer.
Adjustor came out last week. Thought it was all good. He said, yes we have lots of damage. I want them to replace the roof on the barn and the workshop. I want the fence to be repaired. I want the trees up (imagine "him" saying "I"). to get the news on Friday afternoon that it doesn't matter what he wants, our insurance company will only pay 15000. THat is HALF of what our estimates are. Back to square one now. I think we will get a few more estimates for the trees. I think we have decided that we won't get the pool replaced. Unless we can get it for cheap. I just want to cry. Oh wait, I did that. Who knows.
Scott and I went to the movie today. We went to see knowing. With Nic Cage. Let me know if you see it. I don't want to spoil anything.
Facebook, I think I am going to lay low for awhile. I wrote "rude" as my status update the other day and a former student posted back, you reap what you sow. I don't know what he was trying to say, and he may have just been playing with me, but I think I will just keep the contest going on the group, and get next months going, since it will be so much fun!
Hard to believe that Max graduates in 2 months. End of an era. I guess that means that Kacey leaves in 2 months. Then she is supposed to come home and move out. Lets see if that happens. I am not in any hurry for her to move out since she can stay here and I don't think she is financially ready. Her car was in the shop this week and it was 320 to get it out. I told her if she is ready to move out, then she is ready to take on these responsibilities of car repairs. Plus the fact that she won't be getting money in her account from us every 2 weeks. It's not much, but I am not going to "pay" her to live on her own. I will be transferring what she got to Max's account. Not being mean, just wanting to keep it real for her.
Next weekend we travel to St louis. We are going to help clean out my grandparents house. It will be tough for me. They are moving to assisted living. There are a few things I don't want out of the family, so we are going to bring the items home.
Ok, enough from me. I hope to post pics at some point.

5 dads/7 boys, fun. I just wish that Scott was excited about it, but he's not. Because he doesn't know the dad he's rooming with. He keeps balking about it, I am trying to talk him up about it, but he's still not sure. I hope he comes home energized. I don't know where Kacey is going. Guess where I am going? TO LOWELL! (work). Shopped today with Max. Shopped yesterday with Kacey.
