"first book"

I made this book for one of our sales reps. I used 95% stash, maybe more. I am excited for this guy and his wife as they had many struggles with infertility.

Tonight, my heart hurts and I celebrate

Today my mom's best friend died. My heart hurts for her. And for my dad. And for Judy's husband Clem. For Ricky her son (and his family Sherry, Marcus and Gretchen). For Phyllis her daughter, my best friend with a love/hate relationship growing up (and her family; sons Eric and Ryan) and for Leah her other daughter (her family Jeff, Abby and Lauren). FOr Judy's sister Carol (who is dealing with her husband dying of pancreatic cancer right now).
Judy, I celebrate your life. For knowing you had the courage to say, enough. For being okay with that. You raised 3 kids. Stayed married to the same man. Lived in the same house, that I bet I wouldn't even recognize on the inside now. For the good times at plattin creek. For the fourth of July parties. For the street dances at Carol and Jim's. For the friday night card games. For new year's parties that continued even this year. For staying my mom's best friend for all these years. I celebrate this. While I know those that you left behind are mourning, they all aspire to join you in the kingdom of HIS heaven.
Rest in peace Judy Lampe

stresses me out? money. worry that I haven't done enough for my kids.
What calms me down? The thing that stesses me out, money. Being able to buy scrapbook supplies, lol!
Oh and stresses me out? I need to buy bra's. Thats a stresser.

random stupid thoughts

-when did it not become a stop sign? It doesn't say pause, it doesn't say run and gun, it says STOP. Why every morning do the people coming out of bridgeport subdivision have to come flying down the hill and not stop? So I speed up to 45 and get right before the stop sign and slam on my brakes. Crazy? I think so, but the people that live up there need to realize it is a stop. Not a pause, not a look to the left and don't even yield at all. That random stupid thought over, next one
-failure to plan on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on mine
-um, no need to get onto my kid. She is an adult. I lay the guilt trips on her. Not you. She is a 5 year vet. She was one of 2 kids last year (yours being one of them) that painted the floor. 2 kids! Where were the rest of them? SO if my kid is a few minutes late, the other kids can pick up the slack. Let's see she put about 10 hours of time in that the other kids didn't. She is 15 minutes late for what 3 times? So lets see she STILL has over 9 hours of time that the rest of them didn't
- if you don't want to talk to me. At least tell me. Not answering the phone for 2 days isn't the answer. I am not sure how many excuses you can make up. It get's old.
-sometimes I feel wasted. Not drug wasted. Talent wasted. I have alot to offer talent wise. In many areas, so those reading this, it's not just one thing.
-yes, I would do a lap band in a hearbeat, if insurance would cover it. Dieting bites
-I like lots of butter on my popcorn. Only brought this up, because I am going to the movies this afternoon with Kacey.

Here is a twofold one. Pick your element of it and run with it
My layout will have both.
I am right handed and I doodled it.
Which is your dominate hand? What things do you do with your hand? Have you ever used your nondominate hand to eat? You eat slower. Sometimes I eat this way to see if anyone notices. I had a surgeon show me how to cut left handed. I have to stop and think about it. It's not as easy as you think.
So this week, think about how you use your hands. And celebrate the inner doodler in you. (BTW, I think my hands are ugly, lol!)It's really hard to take a picture of your dominate hand. Thankfully Schott took this for me

OMG!

I SO want a sock monkey! I am going to have to have this new line of paper that is all sock monkeys! I guess I am going to have to get one and soon!
Bucket list was entertaining. Never trust a fart. Now that's funny!

Total randomness

1) pretty weekend here. Scott mulched leaves, I cleaned out the pantry. I mean cleaned out. Can't wait to finish it. I had 3 large bags of outdated items. I also got rid of a crock pot. I had a friend get one of the gas grills and someone to come get the other one. Very productive weekend.
2) about the garage sale. I do have a lot of items. I don't use nearly what I accumulate. I still have enough to open a small store. I am tickled with what was sold. I can't wait till the next one. I spend way too much at the store and can easily spend my salary in there. They have even joked at work that they will start sending my check directly there.
3) the treadmill is now in the living room. Let's hope we use it
4) tv schedule is made up for the week. Can't wait to watch it
5) I am glad I am in a routine. Max is back at school. Full week of work
6) Max wants to check out Tulsa university. It meets my criteria of a 5 hour drive from home. GREAT football coach there so thats good. I just wasn't ready for my baby to think about colleges, he's a junior.
7) I really need my hair colored. this will happen tomorrow evening
8) I am addicted to pogo and diet coke
9) I am anal in so many ways. I think I am OCD. How do you go about diagnosing it? What would I do about it? When I leave work I want to
10) I am proud to say my parents have been married almost 50 years (this May). Not many people can say that.

Challenge number uno

Ok, so while it's fresh, scrap a page with you in it for Christmas. To let you know, I am using one of the layouts I did below to scrap my picture. So that's it! How easy will this one be. The holiday should be fresh. I will post my layout tomorrow night.

LOCAL SCRAPBOOK STORE GARAGE SALE
I am proud to say my hard work paid off! I spent most of the week putting together packs/kits. I sold at least 40 of them. Most at 5, some at 10. I made 580 in store credit. I can't wait for the new stuff to come out.
