so like wow, it's been awhile, huh?

Lets see, Kacey is home.......yeah........ and starts classes tomorrow. Her car is now repaired (back door latch) and she is mobile.

Here is a pic of Scott and Max at the father/son game. It was so much fun. Plus I had my new camera to shoot with, so a bonus there.

Max is back at school. Sad day. I thought that his first day of kindergarden was going to be sad, but it wasn't. HOWEVER, this being his last first day of school WAS!. Imagine that. He started his senior year. So far, so good. Time will tell. He has the SAME math teacher as last year. Lord help me. She was a nightmare. I suggested that he get out of that class, go to another teacher (nope), take a lesser math (nope, nope, he wants to graduate with honors and this is the only class he needs to do that), etc.

Lets see, upcoming........... Football on Monday, open house on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are clear. Friday Kacey and I leave for St Louis (after I get off work). She flies out on Saturday, comes back on Sunday. We will drive home Sunday night late. I want Monday free. I don't want to have to drive all day Monday. I will get to see my grandparents and go to Cameron's birthday party.

So how about some shoutouts here........Jen, I am in awe of how beautiful your kids are. yes, I did say beautiful. Kristen, how come no update? Terri, how was business this weekend? Sorry I didn't make it. Going to St Louis, must conserve money, lol! Michelle, when are you moving close to me? House for sale up the road..................................................................

Later!

love me some RIBBON!

So I found this "thing" at HL. I will admit, it's pretty ugly. Guess that's why it was marked down. It comes with a base. Like for a plant. I saw something different for it. I bought Scott a can of spray paint (I know, as much as I make fun of him with the spray paint, I have been asking him to spray paint a bunch, lol) and let him go to town. I never would have paid full price for this "thing" but for 13.66 it was ok.
I have had all this ribbon in a jar. Plus the 12 library card catalog drawers full of it. I wanted to see what I had in the jar, but not have to find room for it in the card catalog.

I will say that I like the way it turned out. Will I use the ribbon more on my layouts? Probably not, but at least I have it out and within reach.

I have ribbon pieces left over and even some full yards leftover. SO, that being said, if you stop by, leave a comment and I will mail the ribbon that I have leftover to someone. Tell your friends, family, etc. I would love to have enough comments to have to use the random picker thingy. More than likely I will be putting the numbers 1-3 in a hat and picking a number out the hat. I will pick someone wednesday so I can send it out on Saturday.

Looks like random number thingy picked 0!
Till then.....................

A new lifejacket

Since I haven't posted in awhile, how about a pic of my hubby in the pool with lifejacket on, lol!
I have time to scrap, but don't want to. I have all of these thoughts going through my head, but can't bring them to life. I think it's too hot, my brain is fried!
How are you?
