let the shopping begin............................

isn't this cool? Snapped this at the dallas museum of art, while Kacey had the room attendant occupied, lol. I am now on the look out for misc. drawers. WHY? I am out of room as it is.
Tommorrow starts the big shopping day. Usually I am so ready to go, but this year is different. I told Kacey and Max they each got 300 (I know, a little overboard, but I saved this year and could do cash). Kacey took her plane ticket to Chicago for a stay with her friend Dave. I think she is looking forward to the museums there. Plus her friend J Fran is driving down from her home in Michigan to spend a few days with her. Kacey has about 20 bucks left over. Max wanted an iphone. So we went last week and got it. WIth the extended warranty, case, etc is was a little over 300. Can you say done? I think I will get them each a movie and some socks. so they have SOMETHING to open.
That leaves me, my mom and dad, Scott's mom and dad, my brother, SIL, and nephew. Scott's 2 sisters and their small families. Giftcards for my grandparents and I am done. The sales have me lured in for: a GPS for the car, a digital frame for Scott's mom and a few picture frames. That's about it.
Notice I put a few Christmas songs on my list. My favorite song is O holy night. What's yours?
I had carbs today. After almost 3 weeks of low carb, I had a huge amount of carbs. Max went to Shelby's first, then to my SIL's, then to his buddy Tylers for another meal. He is going to be miserable. Here is a pic of my inlaws, Shelby, Max and Kacey. Like all the natural light going on? LOL!

so, what's on your list!

This is getting silly

My blog is still "locked". Don't ask me why. I dunno.
I am working to clean up my space. Afterall, I have the week off. I guess maybe I am putting off finishing the baby book.
Here's how nice my paper looks now. The big open space had ziploc bags full (see last picture).

Buttons, buttons and more buttons. See next picture. Should I sort all my buttons and put them in the milk jars like this? Lots of work, but I could do it. I would love to hear what others think.
I just noticed the dust up here. It is above eye level, so it's legal.

Here are the few that I did. I have a bag of browns/blacks/neutrals, so I just sorted them.

Here is the tub full of things to sell. Now I just need to figure out where to "stash" it over the holidays before the sale in January.

Here is what I really started out doing today. I want all of these large ziploc bags full of kits/coordinates/started projects, in one spot. I cleared out this spot under the bird cage and lined them up here. Now this is a 4 foot space. 4 feet of ziploc bags. Bags I filled with things that went together/etc. The ones on the end are going to be emptied out. And put back in the rotation of things. Bags that are there that have kits in them are going to be worked on. My goal is to get half of this shelf wiped out. Plus this is the shelf right behind my seat. I think before I go to bed, I am going to run the sweeper in here and take the stack of magazines and rip out what I like and put them in my basket here. And then post them for anyone that wants them on craigslist. I think I have recently thought about giving up scrapping because I am overwhelmed with all that I have. Have I mentioned that I haven't brought much in lately? Didn't buy anything scrap related while in Dallas. And had them put the slice on the shelf, since I don't think I should spend that amount of money on something I basically already have. Oh, and I will be getting the matching cabinet (see earlier post regarding new stamp storage) soon. I think how I will fill it, MAYBE, is put my SU sets in it. Maybe not. I have like 100 sets. And I ask you WHY? I'm sick. I think I need professional help. But I love my room. And my hobby, and the creative process. Ok, better get a few things done now.

History was made tonight

and I am more upset about it than I am my cat missing for a month. Like time to cry upset. Ok, it's a black man, no big deal, but he's not ALL black. It's not about the taxes. It boils down to healthcare. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a fan of Mccain either. And I wanted to vote democrat, I really did. But not for Obama. His healthcare plans suck. If it goes through in the next 4 years, I will more than likely be unemployed. My family works and we have healthcare. Others can get jobs that offer healthcare, don't make that my problem.
Disappointed, I am. But there is nothing I can do about it. Therefore I must go on. We must look forward. Our visions may not be the same, but I didn't run for office. All I can say is this GOD bless the USA, we are going to need it.

me again

oh, oh, oh! I was sitting here wondering about what to write. AND then I remembered (like how could I forget)........................
I was a winner! I am the soon to be owner of the 66 yards of ribbon! Of my choice! Like I need more? YES I DO!
Check out simplyscrapbooksok.com to see me listed. Be sure to check out their website and if ever in the Claremore/Tulsa area be sure to look them up.
now what colors do I "need"?
